We interrupt your regularly scheduled week with some good ‘ol home video collector shop talk. The one and only Justin Beahm returns to the show and I’m happy to catch up with him on all the fantastic work he’s been putting out since the last time he appeared on the show.
Centered around this week’s releases of Child’s Play 1, 2 & 3 on 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray from Shout!/Scream Factory, we also go into some of his other work from the past and future, including as much as I could get out of him about the upcoming Halloween 4K Collection box set. But, we discussed some magnificent stuff that blew my mind, like him having breakfast with Robert Redford to discuss the Blu-ray of Ordinary People and Jackie Earle Haley restoring some old home movie footage for Bad News Bears.
There’s A LOT to unpack here, and the episode is very casual and off the cuff. I hope you enjoy hearing it as much as we enjoyed recording it.
