This week, we shift our gears on the show for an idea I had around launch. As an avid Black Friday Blu-ray shopping enthusiast and someone who is a bit specific in my interests when it comes to buying gifts for during the holiday season, I thought it would be cool to have some episodes for those like me or those buying for one like me.
The Holiday Gift Guide aims at providing some suggestions, standouts, deals and rounding all the material up into one spot intended to save you some time and give you some ideas. And it wound up being a lot of fun to record.
Our first installment focuses on Blu-rays. This one is my personal wheelhouse, with some distributors making Black Friday one of the most exciting events of the year. There is A LOT of content to go over in this one and I think fellow collectors will be happy with this episode just to hear people conversing about it.
Stephanie Crawford, formerly of Screamcast and a freelance writer with her work featured in a numerous bevy of impressive outlets, joins me for discussion. She’s one of the most knowledgeable forces in the field around when it comes to Blu-ray. I can’t recall many times having this much fun sharing a passion for something on a recording.
