I chose “Block Rockin’ Beats” by The Chemical Brothers as I wanted something that sort of fit in with the vibe of music my guest creates. The album it came from was the first techno album I ever bought and the music of The Chemical Brothers is what kind of made me think “Okay, I might like this stuff.”
Returning is Nate Utesch of METAVARI. And this turns out more fun than I could have planned as we reflect on the alternative nation that was our youth and realize how friggin’ weird and all over the place it really was. There’s a clear starting and ending point, too.
