Juice Newton had been around for quite some time before busting loose with her previous album in 1981 that had such biggies as “Angel of the Morning” and “Queen of Hearts”. “Love’s Been a Little Bit Hard on Me” continued the climb of hits.

Troy Brownfield was on assignment for this video. And it showcases the comedic side of the singer as well as having some odd sitcom parody-like qualities to it. Juice Newton would take home a Grammy for one of her other singles for this album despite a nod for this one.
