I pay close attention to my guests; what they say, things they might drop in passing, social media…la la la. Back when we recorded the “Best Soundtrack Songs of the 90s” episode, I remember Sabina Graves saying that No Doubt was one of her favorites and specifically the Return of Saturn album.
So here we are, talking about the goddess Gwen Stefani and their most successful track critically and commercially from the album, “Simple Kind of Life”. While the video failed to make waves on TRL, it holds an iconic status with really strong, memorable imagery from the band.
