Wow! We made it through the week! As we always do here on The Brandon Peters Show, we close it out with a song…or music video discussion rather! And as I have been doing what I want all week with the movies, here’s a music video and band I’ve been holding onto for a big occasion.

Smashing Pumpkins were HUGE for me in my teen years. They were my first ever “favorite band” from my youth. “Tonight, Tonight” wasn’t just a massive single and music video for them, it was one of the greatest music videos of all time. This juggernaut, based on the silent short film A Trip To The Moon was a raging success. You couldn’t avoid it flipping on MTV at any given point in the day.

Author Pres Maxson joins to help lower the curtain on this week. Since he infamously said he hates music videos on his last appearance on the show, I found it fitting for him to come back and try again. I think he wanted to go for the record of longest music video episode and by golly, he achieved it. There’s a lot of off topic and random side conversations more era specific, but I kept them in, cuz why the the hell not. Enjoy!

The Brandon Peters Show will return!
