Audery Lane is back! She’s always game and ready upon receiving the call to come and guest on the show. I’m lucky to have someone with such talent and great analysis that is excited to be on the show!

For this episode, I’m bringing a completely forgotten flick to the table: BUCKTOWN. I didn’t know it existed myself until the mid-2000s. Being a big fan of both Pam Grier and Fred Williamson, I’m stunned that I and others still to this day don’t know of a big movie that they teamed up for at the height of their powers. PLUS – it features the cinematic debut of Carl Weathers! Why do we not talk about this movie more?

Bucktown brings a lot of ideas to the table, while also delivering the goods of the black action films of the era. Audery and I don’t hold back and talk all about every bit of it and have a fantastic discussion on a film I love that I never imagined would be this good. Your ears are in for treat!
