Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead

Greg McGoon is a wonderful children’s author and all around great personality. He has a pretty extensive background from being candy royalty to theater and a photography which led him to his writing. Greg is also just an all around terrific and passionate person to be able to share time with.

This episode’s film discussion is for Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead. I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined or predicted it would play out as it did. And I’m incredibly happy for that. This is not the direction you’re going to imagine this conversation taking.

Greg has spent plenty of time with this movie, grown with this movie and really connected with it on such a deep level that his dissertation on it is everything I’m hoping a guest can bring to the show when they share a film. I found myself just kicking back in awe with what Greg was delivering and letting him just take the whole thing away.

It’s a really impressive deep dive into a film you wouldn’t expect so my reflection, psychology and analysis from, but that’s the beauty of this show. Sit back, relax and enjoy Greg McGoon’s senior thesis on Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead!
