One of the most important voices in both the horror realm and home video, Justin Beahm is always a pleasure to have a discussion with. His ideals and outlook are always very positive and inspiring. Beahm takes nothing for granted and sees the value in every little corner of creativity.
He’s also the head honcho for Reverend Entertainment. Justin has been involved in bringing some of the best special editions and collector’s edition Blu-rays to us for over a decade now. You’ll find his work on the new Friday the 13th Blu-ray set from Scream Factory, The Deer Hunter 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray, Big Trouble In Little China Collector’s Edition, Sleepaway Camp Collector’s Edition and the Paramount Presents Blu-ray catalog line just to name some. With Reverend, he’s been able to provide some of the finest, most in depth retrospective interviews and commentaries to complete the full on fan relationship with a film.
Justin had been on Cult Cinema Cavalcade in the past and I was quick to bring him on for one of the first episodes of The Brandon Peters Show. If you are a Blu-ray collecting geek you are going to LOVE this episode. Oh, and we also have a fruitful discussion of John Carpenter’s The Fog to boot.
This is a pretty packed episode. The longest of the show’s run so far. But, this being Halloween week, and there being a lot to discuss about Blu-ray things, I thought it best to let it run! In case a certain aspect is too long or doesn’t interest you, here’s a cheat sheet:
0:00:59 – Justin Beahm Interview
0:40:00 – The Fog Discussion
1:05:32 – What Else

The Brandon Peters Show will return tomorrow (10/27) with 4K BLUsday.
